Overview

Wenner Media is looking for a Senior Account Manager/Account Manager to join the account management team. In this role, you will be responsible for securing, maintaining and growing Wenner Media advertising revenue through expert campaign management and high quality client service. Acting as the primary post-sale point of contact for campaign execution and optimization, this position is ultimately responsible for the successful launch and performance of dynamic cross-platform campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary post-sale point of contact for execution of all pending and live campaigns.
  • Provide superior client service in response to all internal and external client inquiries.
  • Coordinate and lead internal and external campaign kick-off calls to establish campaign timelines, deliverables and success metrics.
  • Facilitate communication throughout custom content production among marketing, design, social and editorial teams.
  • Project manage cross-team timelines to ensure programs launch on time and as contracted.
  • Manage cross-platform media programs to achieve or exceed performance expectations.
  • Proactively identify under-delivery and performance opportunities while providing the client with suggestions for campaign improvements and optimizations.
  • Review and analyze weekly delivery reports to ensure all placements are on track to deliver in full and as contracted so all revenue may be appropriately recognized.
  • Manage internal and external client approvals to process optimizations, revisions, make-goods, cancellations and renewals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 – 4 years in digital advertising, preferably at an agency or publisher.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of the digital sales process and a background in media planning.
  • Demonstrated, superior customer service in a client-facing role.
  • Superior organizational and project management skills.
  • Passion for online media and journalism/storytelling.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Google Docs.
  • Experience using DoubleClick for Publishers is preferred.
  • Bonus points for experience working on custom and sponsored content campaigns.
