Overview

Rolling Stone is looking for a detail-oriented senior producer to join the Account Management team. This role sits at the intersection of the Marketing, Design, Video and Editorial Teams at Rolling Stone and will be responsible for managing internal communication, coordination, and digital production of Rolling Stone’s custom branded and sponsored editorial content programs. The ideal candidate for this position has experience communicating creative direction at a high level, managing content driven programming and producing digital content within a publishing CMS. We are looking for a highly organized individual with a natural ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables at one time.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Editorial, Design and Video production teams throughout project life cycles to ensure on time and under budget delivery of content driven campaigns.
  • Utilize CMS platform and JW Player to build branded content, page hubs, and configure tags.
  • Maintain and grow a rich understanding of site operations and custom project capabilities, while vetting new vender opportunities to improve portfolio of offerings.
  • Coordinate the strategy and execution of social promotion with internal teams and external amplification partners.
  • Organize internal processes, via project management platforms including Asana, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Jira and group calendars.

  • Assist in coordinating weekly meetings and create organizational materials (including production timelines and program agendas) to communicate campaign deliverables, deliver media assets, and keep all internal stakeholders on task.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 – 4 years in digital advertising, preferably with a focus on content production, management and coordination.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of the video and editorial production cycle.
  • Demonstrated experience liaising with Design, Video, Social & Editorial Teams.
  • Superior organizational and project management skills.
  • Passion for online media and journalism/storytelling.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Google Docs.
  • Experience using a publisher CMS is preferred.
  • Experience executing social amplification campaigns is a plus.
