Overview

Rolling Stone seeks an experienced Account Management Director in New York. This individual will be responsible for managing all advertiser client accounts and developing and maintaining positive working relationships with agency and client partners from pre-sale through the execution phase. Director will oversee the account management team and will work closely with Marketing on all programs as they relate to the overall Rolling Stone brand, editorial, custom content, talent and events.

Responsibilities

  • Create and approve all media plans
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop overall campaign timelines, roles and responsibilities
  • Work closely with Ad Operations on day-to-day operational processes including campaign set up, viewability, yield, receipt of creative or tags, trafficking, optimization, trouble-shooting, screenshots, and QA
  • Work closely with Custom Solutions team to ensure production timelines are met, communicate updates to clients, troubleshoot problems or roadblocks, and develop project milestones
  • Work closely with Analytics and Ad Operations to determine root causes for customer success or failure, and drive requirements for product or process enhancement and development as needed
  • Liaise with internal cross-functional teams to understand client goals and key performance metrics, and utilize all Rolling Stone’s resources and analytical tools to ensure goals are over-delivered on throughout the campaign
  • Leverage technical tools and quantitative data to manage campaigns and drive success, high customer satisfaction and renewal
  • Prepare campaign insights reporting (during and post), including analysis and research leveraging Rolling Stone and/or third party performance and delivery data
  • Manage weekly campaign status documents for internal review with sales, marketing, operations, analysts, and executives
  • Work closely with finance/ad operations on billing campaign questions and invoicing
  • Adhere to established processes and workflows, as it relates to campaign set-up and pixel placement strategy, creative execution (including dynamic creative), ad trafficking, campaign management and any trouble-shooting necessary with pixels, creative assets, and campaign reporting. Provide input on new processes and work flows as needed.
